The Isotope Chemistry Laboratory conducts a wide range of research forcusing on radioactive isotopes.
(1) Synthesis and properties of new metal complexes with radioactive and related stable metal ions
・The complexes showing luminescence and radiation
・Synthesis of chelating ligands suitable for metal ions with large ionic radii for nuclear diagnosis and therapy
(2) Analytical chemistry using muons
(3) Environmental chemistry of radionuclides
(4) Research on production and application for nuclear medicine
The laboratory is located in the Toyonaka Branch of Radioisotope Research Center on the Toyonaka Campus.
